and i think if we are open for religious things, we can find many similarities between christianity and buddhism. i know that there are christian monks spending some time in buddhist monasteries f.e.

oh, by the way... lucky you to have had the chance to go to thailand! i would love to visit... not just because of the food {it's my favorite cuisine... thai food}, but because of all the things you've shown here... just a peaceful, yet rich in color culture.
my brother went there shortly after the big tsunami years back... to help with the relief efforts.
hmmmm... i've heard of a marriage of christianity with buddhism. there are many who practice it. but growing up in a christian home, i was always raised to believe that is not right... "thou shalt have no other God's..." but i do know it exists as an actual religion... or blend of.
Bangkok is a special place. I have some great memories of my trip there, years back.
