Simplicity

Here are some more in my series of photos from Thailand.  These were taken at Wat Phao, in Suphan Buri province north of Bangkok, notable for the forest of fruit bats surrounding the temple.  I enjoyed its simple lines and gorgeous, warm colors.

All of these were processed with one or more layers of Kim Klassen's "Simplicity" texture --

I never did find out why some of the trees were wrapped in monks' robes

i love that you used texture on these photos... something different than the typical close-up still life texture use that is so prevalent in the world of texture use. another way i see them used a lot is on scenic photos. but these are neither. they are in between... travel shots. and i would not have thought to use texture on them... but you did, and kudos to you! they are wonderful!

what an interesting place thailand seems to be... so much texture... and color, which i'm sure YOU love!
